Volunteers at the Warming Center help to ensure our guests have a safe and welcoming environment to access services, meet with housing counselors, and decompress. You will hear some of the most inspiring and heartwarming stories while helping to keep operations running smoothly!
Morning volunteer shifts include:
- stocking the snack shelves
- stocking the bathrooms and shower rooms
- starting coffee
- deep cleaning the designated zone for the day
- facilitating laundry service
- interacting with guests by providing quality customer service
- welcome and orient new guests and volunteers
- organize and tidy up the clothes closet, laundry area, and common areas
- emptying the trash
- and so much more!
