Homeward Point/Drop In Center

Who We Are

Homeward Point is HRDC’s low-barrier shelter, created to provide safe, dignified, and accessible housing support for anyone experiencing homelessness.

As a program of HRDC, we are guided by a mission to instill hope, develop resources, design solutions, and change lives. Our shelter is a welcoming space where compassion, integrity, and respect come first. Staff work side-by-side with dedicated volunteers to ensure every guest feels seen, supported, and safe.

What We Do

At Homeward Point, we meet people where they are. Our low-barrier approach ensures that even those facing the toughest challenges in our community have a safe place to rest and a chance to rebuild. The work we do is not just a temporary band-aid—it’s real medicine that begins the healing process and opens the door to lasting change.

In addition to shelter, we connect guests with recovery services such as peer support, recovery groups, and other resources that foster stability and growth. Every volunteer plays a vital role in this healing environment, helping us provide not just shelter, but a pathway forward.

Join our team of volunteers today and be part of the work that changes lives!
