Morning Operations Support

Description

This volunteer shift is a great opportunity for anyone looking into doing a couple of hours of volunteering early in the morning before work or school.

Between 7am and 8am the facility will get especially busy, as folks prepare to head out for their days. You will likely find yourself spending a lot of time opening lockers and distributing hygiene products and food as people go about their morning routines.

Volunteers at Homeward Point help to ensure our guests have a safe and welcoming environment to access services, meet with resource navigators, and decompress. You will hear some of the most inspiring and heartwarming stories while helping to keep operations running smoothly!

Duties that might be expected from this role include:

  • Locker Assistance
  • Customer Service
  • Cleaning 
  • Laundry
  • Organization
