Hello Garden Friends!
We have come the end of the growing season! Please join us for one last work party at Story Mill Learning Garden!
We will be doing as much fall garden cleanup as possible.
This includes:
Weeding, harvesting, composting, amending the soil in the raised beds and planting additional perennial plants in the Edible Food Forest and perennial beds.
Please Bring
-Weather appropriate clothing, a water bottle and closed toe shoes
-Garden Gloves if you have them
-Any tools that you would like to use
-A container for produce(reusable bag or box) if you would like to take any home
-An open mind and a helper attitude
If you would like to bring something to plant in the food forest from your garden or would like to purchase something to plant, here is a list of plants that would be helpful and welcome! When you are sourcing these plants please try to find varieties that are as native as possible.
