Join us in safely packing shelf-stable bags for kids to utilize while school is out. We are distributing KidsPack bags at various locations throughout the valley during school closure.
Bags are packed with shelf-stable food supplies that supplement the entire family's food budget and include enough for 3-4 meals depending on how the child or families decide to utilize the items.
We pack our bags at the Bus Barn (this is a different location then the Food Bank!):
1812 North Rouse, it is about a 1/4 mile north after the highway underpass on Rouse (on the Right- the sign says the city complex/Bus Barn). We will be packing out of the 1st grey garage door (just past the set of red garage doors), there will be a food bank van parked in front of the door. please park along the south edge of the lot.
Please dress for a warehouse environment (we usually have garage bays open, weather dependent) and bring a face mask, gloves will be provided.
We will space to ensure that there is plenty of space for packing (at least 6 feet) to take place.
