Mass sorting of food items to prepare for prepacked food distribution. The volunteer work entails creating an assembly line moving food along a table and placing within categories, i.e. canned meat, vegetables, fruits, etc. We will meet at 1812 N. Rouse on the East Side of the offices in the 1st bus bay. Please only volunteer if you are healthy! We will take safety precautions of washing hands, wearing gloves while we work and keep the 6-foot distance from each other while we work. Please park at Osterrmans or along the fence in the complex without blocking city workers’ flow of traffic.
Dress warm, it is a warehouse environment.
