Food Rescue Route Drivers: Gallatin Valley Food Bank

Get Connected Icon Until Aug 15, 2034
Get Connected Icon 8am - 10am

Description

Every weekday morning we operate four separate food rescue routes in order to bring in just over 1,000,000 pounds of food rescue donations every year from local grocery stores and businesses.

We are always looking to add new volunteer drivers into the mix. In order to drive for us, you must have a valid drivers license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a driver history check. You must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. By filling out a response to this need, you are letting us know that you are interested in driving. When we have availability, we can schedule you for a ride along to begin your training.

For questions, please contact Chris Bokovoy, our Food Rescue Coordinator at cbokovoy@thehrdc.org

Due to the training required and the cost of a background and driver history checks, we ask for a minimum 3-month commitment for this opportunity.
