Drop In Center Support

Description

Help create a safe, welcoming, and dignified environment for our guests as they access essential services, meet with housing counselors, and decompress. As a Facility Readiness & Guest Support Volunteer, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and supporting guests on their path to stability.

Shift Focus Areas:

  • Kitchen Oversight: Support meal service and maintain a clean, organized kitchen.

  • Laundry Assistance: Help guests with laundry pick-up and drop-off.

  • Donations Management: Receive, organize, and inventory donations; complete donor receipts.

  • Facility Readiness: Prepare the building for drop-in (9 a.m.–12 p.m.) and shelter services (evening).

  • Guest Support: Assist with lockers, bunk readiness, and general customer service.

  • Cleaning & Organization: Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the facility and grounds.

Note: The Drop-In Center is closed on holidays.
