During this shift you will be charged with overseeing the kitchen, laundry and donations. These areas provide our guests with the necessary tools they need to regain some normalcy in this difficult time in our lives.
Volunteers at Homeward Point help to ensure our guests have a safe and welcoming environment to access services, meet with housing counselors, and decompress. You will hear some of the most inspiring and heartwarming stories while helping to keep operations running smoothly!
Duties that might be expected from this role include:
- Assisting Guests in picking up/dropping off laundry
- Oversight of kitchen us (In whatever form it will exist)
- Receive/Organize donations
- Fill out receipts for donors
- Inventory of supplies
