Sundays - Fridays Fork & Spoon serves dinner from 5 - 7 pm and relies on a group of 10 volunteers to help us with dinner service. This includes serving meals, plating food, bussing tables, and dishwashing. Volunteers MUST arrive at 4:30 for a shift meeting and training and stay until 7:30 or 8 pm until cleaning is completed. Overall the volunteer shift is 3 - 3.5 hours.
While this is a very rewarding experience, it does require being able to be on your feet for a full three hours, use a mop & broom, and lift moderately heavy items (pizza pans, bus tubs, dish pans). Please be realistic about your ability to fulfill these expectations as a volunteer.
