It's time to start preparing for the end of the season. We will be doing some mulching, weeding harvesting and preparing the garden to rest for the winter. Come help us maintain the Story Mill Learning Garden and Edible Food Forest!
Tasks:
-Weeding
-Composting
-Sheet Mulching
-Planting
-Fellowship
What to bring:
-Cardboard! We will be using the Lasagna method to sheet mulch in the food forest (preferably unprinted, with tape and staples removed).
-Please wear weather appropriate clothing and closed toe shoes.
-Water bottle and sun protection (hats and sunscreen)
-Garden gloves and any tools that you would like to use these will be provided if you cant bring them)
-An open mind and a helper attitude!
